50 Error/Service

This error may indicate failure of an internal printer component. Turn the printer off for 20 minutes. Do not unplug the printer during this time. Turn the printer back on at the end of the 20 minute interval. If the error returns, contact D/I for assistance as an internal component has indeed failed.

If the error is no longer present, this may have been an intermittent and your printer is OK. If the error returns at a later date (or soon after), repeat the 20 minute power off. If the error does not go away or persistently returns, contact D/I for assistance as an internal component has failed.
