79 Service
- All HP Printers...
-
- This error is commonly caused by defective accessories
that have been added to your printer such as font
cartridges, added memory or I/O cards. Turn the
power off on your printer, remove these
accessories and turn your printer back on.
-
- If the error is gone and you removed only one accessory,
that accessory is defective. Contact D/I for a
replacement.
If the error is gone and you removed more than one accessory, turn
the power off on your printer, reinstall one of the
accessories and turn power back on your printer. If the error
reappears, that accessory is defective. Contact D/I for a
replacement. If the error is still gone, repeat the same steps
for your other accessories until you discover the defective part.
- Remember to TURN POWER OFF on your printer whenever
adding or removing any accessory. If you do not, you will
most likely destroy your accessory, resulting in a 79
Service error.
If you do not find any defective accessories or you have no
accessories to begin with, then contact D/I for further help.
